Does This Sound
Like You?
- Your paycheck runs out before the month does
- You want extra money, but you don't have money to start a business
- You've looked at side hustles, and they all want something you don't have: a car, a storefront, inventory, or hours you can't spare
- You're tired of "make money online" videos that end with a $2,000 course
- You'd love something you can do from your phone, after work or after the kids are in bed
If you nodded at even one of those, keep reading. There's a way to earn on the side that most people still don't know exists, and you already have the one tool it needs: your phone.
What Is The
7‑Day First Sale Course?
The 7-Day First Sale Course is a beginner's plan for earning commissions on TikTok Shop, that lets you get paid by brands for posting short videos about their products, without buying inventory, shipping anything or building a website.
We do this by teaching you the way brands want new creators to start: pick products that are already selling, film short videos the way brands approve them, and grow your account the right way from day one. And because we run brands on TikTok Shop ourselves, we tell you which products and brands are working right now.
And as a result, you stop wondering how people make money on TikTok. You end the week with your account set up, your first videos posted, and a clear 30-day plan to your first sale.
Here's how TikTok Shop pays you:
- 1A brand sells a product on TikTok Shop. Deodorant, energy drinks, skincare, kitchen gadgets: things people buy every day.
- 2You post a short video about it, with the product tagged so viewers can tap and buy.
- 3Someone taps and buys. The brand ships it and handles returns. You never touch the product, the money or the customer.
- 4You earn a commission on the sale. On Onside, one of our brands, creators earn 20% on sales from their videos. Some brands pay 50% or more.
Compare that to most side hustles:
- COSTBuy inventory up front
- COSTBuild a website or store
- COSTPay for ads yourself
- WORKPack, ship and handle returns
- WORKChase friends and family to buy
- RESULTSpend first, hope later
- FREEBrands already have the products
- FREETikTok is the store
- FREEBrands pay to boost your best videos
- FREEThe brand ships and handles returns
- FREEStrangers buy, not your friends
- RESULTGet paid commission on each sale
The Part Nobody Tells Beginners:
Brands Will Pay To Push Your Videos
Most people think you need a big following to make sales on TikTok. You don't, and here's why.
On TikTok Shop, brands can put their own ad money behind the videos creators make. It's called GMV Max. When your video sells, TikTok shows it to more people, and the brand pays for it. You still earn a commission on those sales. On Onside, that's 10% of every sale the ads bring in.
"Right now I'm trying to spend $25,000 a day on ads for Onside, and I can only spend about $10,000. There aren't enough creator videos to put the money behind."
Chris Chapman, co-owner of OnsideRead that again. Brands have the products, the budget and the ad money. What they're short on is people making videos. That's the gap this course teaches you to fill.
Here's What's Happening
On TikTok Shop Right Now…
Most people still think of TikTok as dance videos. Meanwhile, it's quietly become one of the biggest places Americans shop:
And it's still early. In China, the same kind of shopping on Douyin, TikTok's Chinese sister app, did about $490 billion in 2024.4 That's more than 30 times the size of TikTok Shop in the US today.
Every one of those US videos was made by somebody. On our own brands, most of our sales come from videos made by creators, not ads we film ourselves. Brands pay those creators a commission to do it.
Here's the honest part: TikTok has rules for new sellers. You need to be 18 or older, live in the US, and have 1,000 followers before you can earn as an affiliate.3 Most beginners don't know that, waste weeks posting the wrong things, and give up. This course shows you how to build toward it the right way from day one.
Why Learn This From People
Who Run The Brands?
Most TikTok Shop courses are made by creators who had a good run, then moved on to selling courses. By the time you buy, they're out of the game.
We're on the other side, and we're still in it. We own and run brands on TikTok Shop right now. We see which products are getting traction, which videos are working, and where the ad money is going, every day.
Here's what that looks like with Onside, a men's care brand we co-own:
- 0 to #1 on TikTok Shop in 11 days. Onside launched in March and didn't sell anything online until the end of June.
- #1 in the whole men's care category, ahead of brands that have been around for years
- About 5 months of inventory sold out in 3 weeks, because the deodorant took off
- #1 in body wash for months after that
- One creator drove $20,000 in sales in a single day with their videos
We also built the TikTok Shop program for an energy drink brand in our portfolio, and took it to #1 on TikTok Shop within weeks.
None of that happens without creators making sales. Brands only win when their creators win. This course is the system we use with our own creators, turned into one short job a day for 7 days.
Results from our brands and creators are not typical, and they're not a promise of what you'll earn.
